I really like this outfit. The one item that both makes & breaks this outfit are the boots. I like them and loathe them, all at once. I would have to wear them on a day that I feel really self confident. No question marks or self doubt swirling around in my head.

4th of July BBQ Outfit

This is the perfect outfit to wear to my friend's 4th of July bbq.  I should clarify, it would be the perfect outfit if I didn't have anemic/pasty colored, potato picking legs or was willing to wear heels on grass for at least four hours.  This outfit requires that I vigorously exercise within the next month or apply a self-tanning lotion but in all likelihood both will be required. 

The complete outfit is from Banana Republic. I think what makes the outfit is the blouse.  The shorts are pretty basic and I am sure something similar could be found for a cheaper price than what Banana Republic is asking for.  Banana Republic has pretty good sales so maybe.........

 

The biggest decision is deciding whether to exercise or find another outfit for the bbq.
