The "EcoBalls" (the flying saucers - $60) take the place of laundry detergent. There is some sort of ionic magic that is powerful up to 1,000 washes. These would be most helpful with the elimination of the gooey, gummy residue that is left behind by the liquid detergent's cap and I won't have to lug (or buy) a big $18 jug of detergent into our house every month.
The "Dryer Balls" (blue balls with nubs - $18) are supposed to eliminate the need for dryer sheets. Every time "the others" do the laundry, my living room looks like a ticker tape parade just went by. The sheets are everywhere. Where are the street sweepers that are supposed to follow the parade and gather up all the sheets and maybe the random sock?
But you know, I can only complain so much until I lose all my help.
